The VM series X-Ring high performance chains from DID feature patented gold side plates, which reduce friction by utilising a unique twist motion between side plates, which stops any instances of the chains being squashed and receiving un-necessary wear.
Conventional O Ring chains, and other modified O-Rings have areas where the side plates meet with the chain, increasing friction by the squashing motion. Of course friction increases wear and ultimately decreases the lifespan of the chain itself. To combat this DID have developed a twisting resilience in the four sections of its X-Ring product, which not only increases sealing performance for road racing and street, but keeps the chain lifespan to a high performance optimum.
The increase of the sealing performance helps to deflect and keep out dust and dirt, keeping the lubrication in a much better condition than any other O Ring chain product.
Put simply, DID X-Rings have the highest level of wear resistance available keeping your chain at its peak for longer; representing much greater value for money in the long run than any other O-Ring or Non-O-Ring Chain.
